Quotex Trading Platform Review for Pakistan

Quotex lists a minimum deposit of $10 and a minimum trade size of $1, with payouts up to 98% on the platform. This review covers how the Quotex trading platform works from Pakistan, what the PC and web apps offer, and what the SECP said about the broker in April 2025.

What the Quotex trading platform offers

The platform itself is the broker's own software, not a white-label of MetaTrader. That matters for users who want a consistent experience across devices, because the mobile and web versions are built by the same team and share the same account.

Quotex does not appear in any register we read. That is a factual gap, not a rumour: we found no licence on record. The regulator in Pakistan, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, licenses securities and futures brokers of the local exchanges, and it does not license offshore forex and fixed-time platforms. Quotex falls into that offshore category from a Pakistani user's perspective.

We hold no regulator warnings on record for Quotex from foreign authorities. That is different from saying the broker is licensed; it means we found no warning from the regulators we track. The relevant warning for Pakistani users comes from the SECP itself, and we cover it in the next section.

The SECP warning from April 2025

On 9 April 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan issued a press release naming Qxbroker, which operates as Quotex, as an unauthorised platform. The SECP referred the matter to the FIA, the PTA, and Google.

The referral to the PTA matters because it can lead to the platform being blocked at the network level inside Pakistan. The referral to Google concerns the app's availability in the Play Store. The referral to the FIA opens the door to criminal investigation under Pakistani law.

This warning does not automatically make the platform unusable. Many offshore platforms continue to accept Pakistani users through VPNs or alternative download routes. But it does mean the broker is not authorised by the SECP, and any dispute a Pakistani trader has with Quotex will not be handled by the Pakistani regulator.

If you deposit money with an unauthorised offshore platform, your recourse is limited. The FIA cybercrime wing is the body that handles online financial fraud complaints in Pakistan, but recovering funds from an offshore operator is difficult in practice.

Quotex app for PC and desktop access

The absence of a desktop app is not unusual among fixed-time brokers. Several competitors in our comparison also rely on web platforms for PC users. The difference is that some brokers, such as Deriv, also offer MetaTrader 5 and TradingView integration, while Quotex keeps everything inside its own platform.

For a trader in Pakistan, the web platform has one practical advantage: it works on any computer with a modern browser, including older laptops that would struggle with a heavy desktop application. The trade-off is that you need a stable internet connection, because there is no offline mode.

We checked the figures on 12 October 2026. The next scheduled check is 11 November 2026, and we will update this page if Quotex publishes a desktop app or changes its platform list.

Deposits and withdrawals in Pakistan

Quotex does not publish a Pakistan-specific payment page in the materials we reviewed. The payment routes we track for brokers serving Pakistani users are bank transfer, mobile wallets, cards, and USDT.

Bank transfers inside Pakistan usually run through 1LINK or Raast, and they work with any local bank. Mobile wallets mean JazzCash and Easypaisa, typically through a payment partner rather than directly. Cards are Visa and Mastercard, subject to your bank's international transaction limit. USDT is usually TRC-20, and it is often the fastest route when a card is declined.

Which of these routes Quotex actually accepts for Pakistani users is not published in a form we could verify. The broker's minimum deposit is $10, which converts to a small amount in rupees, but the conversion rate and any fees depend on the payment channel you choose.

Because the SECP has named Quotex as unauthorised, local banks and wallets may block transactions to the platform. That is a practical risk: a deposit that leaves your bank account is not guaranteed to reach the broker, and a withdrawal that reaches your bank may be flagged.

How Quotex compares on the numbers

The licence picture is where Quotex stands apart in a less favourable way. Deriv holds licences from the MFSA, Labuan FSA, and VFSC. IQ Option holds a CySEC licence. Olymp Trade holds a VFSC registration and Financial Commission membership. Quotex, like Exnova and BinaryCent, shows no licence in any register we read.

We hold no foreign regulator warnings for Quotex, which distinguishes it from Pocket Option, BinaryCent, and IQcent, all of which carry warnings from at least one major regulator. But the SECP warning from April 2025 is the one that matters most for a Pakistani reader, and it is specific to this broker.

None of this is a prediction about whether Quotex will pay out on a given trade. It is a factual comparison of the numbers and the regulatory record we hold. A trader who weighs the 98% payout against the absence of a licence and the SECP referral has to decide what matters more.

Questions readers ask

Quotex is not licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. In April 2025, the SECP named Qxbroker (Quotex) as an unauthorised platform and referred the matter to the FIA, the PTA, and Google. The SECP licenses securities and futures brokers of the local exchanges, not offshore fixed-time platforms. Using Quotex from Pakistan is not licensed, and disputes will not be handled by the Pakistani regulator.
